Goodies by Jen Review & Giveaway!

When I think of the holidays, my mind automatically envisions pies, cakes, cookies and other goodies. Jen of Goodies by Jen Homemade Cookies & More is offering one of my readers a chance to win a sample party tray. The party tray includes 50 cookies and 1 loaf of bread. You will get your choice of 5 types of cookies-10 each and your choice of bread-1 loaf. ($50 value.)

I was lucky enough to get to try one of these tasty cookie platters. Jen makes lots of varieties of "regular cookies" and "fancy cookies". For those with food allergies, she also has a selection of gluten free cookies. I'm going to list below the ones I tried and what I thought of them.

Jen mints: This is Jen's signature cookie. They are a chocolate covered chocolate wafer, similar to Girl Scout Thin Mints, but WAY better! I like to call these cookies "Heaven in my mouth!" I could eat these all day.

Snickerdoodles: These are a classic, cinnamon covered cookie and just as yummy as grandma's

Chocolate mocha crescents: These cookies look beautiful on a platter and they come drizzled with chocolate. They are a crisp cookie that go great with coffee!

Butterscotch tea party cookies: These are crisp, wafer-thin cookies with a hint of butterscotch flavor. Yum! These were one of my kids' favorites.

Spiced Chai Cookies: These bite-sized cookies are dredged in powder sugar and taste just like a Chai latte in a cookie. Delicious! These were definitely a hit with kids and adults alike.

Applesauce Raisin Bread: This sweet bread is really good and I loved the flavor of it.

Pumpkin Cranberry Bread: The combination of the two flavors was quite yummy. It was all the great flavors of the holidays in a little loaf of bread!

If you don't want to wait for the giveaway, you can order cookies now. Just go to Goodies by Jen and choose your flavors! If you don't want a whole party platter. You can buy just one flavor of 25 cookies for $10. Go to her site for more pricing details.
